SOLIHULL Borough skipper Danny Hall insists his team mates are brimming with confidence as they aim to make it giant-killing
number five in the FA Trophy this Saturday.
Boro head into their biggest game in four years when they head to Stalybridge Celtic for a second round tie after already
seeing off four higher league sides. Evesham, Tiverton, Harrogate and Hednesford have already been slayed by the Solihull
sword and Hall believes his boys can do it again.
Confidence is high at the moment and weve showed that, not just in the trophy, but in the FA Cup as well, said the Solihull
captain, who was speaking after non-leagues greatest silverware was paraded at Damson Park on Monday.
Weve already beaten some good teams and now we have to go out there and do it again.
Weve played most of the games in this competition at home, now we have to prove that we can do it away.
Solihull, who have avoided defeat in their last five games, reached their highest stage in the FA Trophy in 2002 when they
took Chester City to a replay in the fourth round.
But Boro will be hardpushed to repeat that progress against a Stalybridge side gunning for promotion, two leagues above Solihull.
The unavallibility of new-signings Dean Curtis and Jamie Williams, due to them being cup-tied, will also hamper Tony Dobsons
preparations.
However if Dave Pearson keeps his goalscoring boots on, Solihull will have a glimmer of hope. The striker hit his fourth in
four on Saturday to secure Boros win at Paulton Rovers
